The NOPD is investigating a double shooting that left a 32-year-old female and a 30-year-old male injured last night (August 20).
At approximately 9:57 p.m., First District officers responded to a call of a shooting in the 600 block of North Galvez Street. Upon arrival, they found both victims inside an apartment suffering from a gunshot wound to the head. EMS rendered medical care and transported the victims to the hospital where they were listed in critical condition.
Upon further investigation, it was identified that the shooting incident was domestic related.
