NOPD Arrests Two on Weapons Charges on Chrysler Street

On August 8, 2017, the NOPD arrested two suspects on gun possession charges in the 4700 block of Chrysler Street.

At about 2:05 p.m., Seventh District detectives along with Seventh District Task Force members responded to a call of a suspicious person call in the area involving an individual concealing a firearm. Upon arrival, the detectives stopped two individuals, later identified as Ronald Grier (DOB: 02-28-1990) and Reginald Bolden (DOB: 05-11-2000), along with several other individuals who were later released. A search of both Grier and Bolden revealed two handguns, one of which was found to have been reported stolen out of Pearl County, Miss.

Grier and Bolden were both arrested and booked into the Orleans Parish Justice Center. Grier was booked for illegal possession of a stolen firearm and two counts of illegal carrying of a weapon. Bolden was booked for illegal possession of a stolen firearm and illegal carrying of a weapon.
