Burglary Suspect Sought by NOPD Eighth District Detectives

The NOPD is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a suspect in multiple burglary incidents in the Eighth District.

At about 11:23 a.m. on April 14, the subject pictured at left reportedly entered the victim’s property in the 900 block of Governor Nicholls Street, pried open a shed and removed a generator and extension cord. The subject, who was seen walking with a distinguishable limp, fled the scene on a bicycle in possession of the victim’s property.

Through further investigation, detectives also determined the suspect to be the perpetrator of an aggravated burglary incident on April 11 in the 700 block of Esplanade Avenue and a vehicle burglary incident on March 11 in the Seventh District.

All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
