New Orleans – The New Orleans Police Department is investigating a reported sexual battery that occurred on March 10, 2026, at approximately 1:31 p.m. in the 2800 block of Josephine Street.
According to investigators, the victim reported being sexually battered by an unknown Black male at the location. During the course of the investigation, detectives identified an individual who was present at the time of the incident and is being sought for questioning.
At this time, the individual is not wanted for the offense but is sought because of the information they are believed to possess.
The investigation remains ongoing.
