The NOPD is seeking assistance in identifying and locating two suspects in the investigation of an armed robbery incident on April 12, 2022, in the 1500 block of Elysian Fields Avenue.
At or about 2:28 a.m. on April 12, NOPD Fifth District officers responded to a reported armed robbery and aggravated battery by cutting at the location. Through investigation, detectives determined that the pictured unknown white female and male subjects approached the victim and asked him to assist them with jumpstarting their vehicle. The victim agreed and walked over to the couple’s vehicle, at which time the male victim allegedly produced a knife and demanded the victim’s wallet. The victim complied, and the male cut the victim to the head with the knife. The suspects then fled the scene in an older model Volkswagen Passat.
