NOPD Seeking Wanted Suspect in Fourth District Aggravated Assault

The NOPD has obtained an arrest warrant for Joshua Morris (pictured, black male, DOB; 07-03-1994) in the investigation of an aggravated assault with a firearm incident on April 5, 2022, at the intersection of General Meyer Avenue and Casa Calvo Street.

On April 5, Morris is believed to have pulled alongside the victim’s vehicle and pointed a firearm at them. Morris then allegedly followed the victims and pointed the firearm at them a second time. The victims fled the area and reported the incident.

An arrest warrant has been filed for Morris on two counts of aggravated assault with a firearm on each victim.
