NOPD Seeking Wanted Suspect in Fourth District Aggravated Assault

The NOPD has obtained an arrest warrant for Brande Renee Duke (pictured, white female, DOB; 03-31-1980) in the investigation of an aggravated assault that occurred on April 10, 2022, in the 200 block of Maumus Avenue.

Through investigation, NOPD Fourth District detectives have determined that at approximately 11:05 a.m., Duke was driving a white SUV – possibly a GMC Yukon – towing a rusted trailer filled with tree debris and a “Happy Birthday” message written on the windows and rear windscreen. Duke was said to be armed with a revolver and to have fired at the victim, who was not injured, before fleeing the scene.

When located, Duke will be arrested for assault by drive-by shooting and for illegal use of weapons.

Anyone with additional information on this incident or on Brande Renee Duke’s whereabouts is asked to contact NOPD Fourth District detectives at 504-658-6040 or call anonymously to Crimestoppers of Greater New Orleans at 504-822-1111 or toll-free 1-877-903-STOP.
