The NOPD arrested Kendrick Steptore (pictured, male, DOB: 05-08-2001) on April 5, 2021 after he was found to be in illegal possession of a firearm.
A Second District officer had attempted to make a suspicious person stop near the intersection of Audubon and Colapissa streets. The subject, later positively identified as Steptore, briefly evaded the officers while discarding a firearm. Steptore was apprehended without incident and the firearm pictured) was recovered. Steptore was booked and charged accordingly.
