Stolen Vehicle Reported to NOPD Fourth District

The NOPD is seeking assistance in locating a vehicle reported as stolen.

The reporting person told police that they parked their gray 2006 Kia Sorento bearing Louisiana license plate YZK675 in the 2100 block of Springbrook Lane at about 5:45 p.m. on April 4, 2020. The vehicle’s battery had then been reportedly disabled by the reporting person, due to the fact the vehicle was stolen about two weeks prior and it was believed the offender had possession of the vehicle key. The reporting person returned to the parking lot at about 9:00 p.m. that same day and discovered the vehicle was missing.

For reference purposes, a photo is included of a vehicle similar in year, color, make and model to the vehicle reported stolen in this incident.

Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact NOPD Fourth District detectives at 504-658-6040, or to call anonymously to Crimestoppers of Greater New Orleans at 504-822-1111 or toll-free at 1-877-903-STOP.
