Shoplifting Subjects Wanted in the Third District

New Orleans – The NOPD is seeking the public’s assistance in locating two unknown male subjects involved in a shoplifting incident that occurred on April 4, 2020.

At around 8:40 p.m., the pictured male subject entered Walgreens located in the 6200 block of Elysian Fields Avenue.  While there he removed bottles of laundry detergent and other merchandise from the shelves and placed them into a bag.  When he attempted to leave the store without paying for the items he was stopped by the store’s private security guard and an employee. The subject began shoving the security guard before another unknown subject entered the store to assist him in fleeing.  Both subjects  left the location in the pictured pick-up truck.

The first subject is described as a black male wearing a gray baseball cap, black jeans with a multi-colored belt, and a black shirt with red words on the front.

Anyone with information on the identity and location of the pictured subject is asked to contact Third District detectives at 504-658-6030, or call anonymously to Crimestoppers at  504-822-1111 or toll-free at 1-877-903-STOP.
