NOPD Looking for Theft Subject in Third District

New Orleans – The NOPD is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a subject known as “Shawn” involved in a shoplifting incident that occurred on April 8, 2020. 

At around 9:48 a.m., “Shawn” entered the “Walgreens” located in the 6200 block of Elysian Fields Avenue.  He went directly to the aisle of household goods and placed various items inside of a large cloth sack that looked like a pillowcase.  “Shawn” walked pass all the store’s cash registers before exiting and fleeing in an unknown direction.  The subject is considered a habitual shoplifter and frequents several different Walgreens stores in the area. 

The subject, a black male, was observed wearing a navy-blue t-shirt, blue jeans, a dark colored baseball cap, and a black mask/bandana around his mouth and nose.
