The NOPD is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a subject believed to be responsible for an armed carjacking that occurred in the 6000 block of Bullard Avenue on March 30, 2019.
The victim was reportedly pumping gas into her vehicle at a gas station when the pictured subject approached her and asked if she knew the location of a street. The victim replied that she did not, at which time the subject asked if she was from New Orleans. The victim said that she was not. As the victim attempted to enter the vehicle, the subject reportedly demanded the victim’s keys. The victim refused, at which time the subject allegedly brandished a handgun. The victim complied and the subject fled the location in the victim's vehicle.
