The NOPD is seeking assistance from the public in identifying and locating the pictured subject who is believed to have valuable information regarding a Fourth District homicide.

On April 1, 2019 Fourth District officers responded to a call of an aggravated battery by shooting around 8:40 a.m. in the 1000 block of Wagner Street. Upon arrival, officers discovered an adult black male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was pronounced dead on scene by EMS.
During the course of the investigation, detectives learned that the pictured subject was in the area during the time of the incident. The subject is not wanted for this homicide. However, detectives would like to interview the subject regarding this incident.
