ORIGINAL RELEASE: The NOPD’s Traffic Division will conduct an upcoming sobriety checkpoint at a location within Orleans Parish.
The checkpoint will be in effect beginning at 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 25, 2019 and concluding at 5:00 a.m. on Friday, April 26, 2019.
Motorists who encounter this checkpoint will experience minimal delays and should have the proper documentation available if requested – this includes proof of insurance, driver’s license and vehicle registration.
