NOPD Searches for Suspect Wanted for Aggravated Assault

The NOPD is seeking assistance from the public in identifying and locating the pictured subject after his alleged involvement in an aggravated assault incident that occurred in the Fifth District.

On April 8, 2019 at or around 8:38 a.m., the pictured subject entered a business located in the 5000 block of North Claiborne Avenue and went to the frozen food section.

The manager of the location reportedly confronted the subject and the subject produced a black handgun from his pant pocket and allegedly pointed the firearm at the victim. The subject then fled the scene on foot, while in possession of the unpaid merchandise.

The subject was last seen wearing a grey jacket with black leather sleeves, black pants, a black baseball cap with a light colored brim and an unknown emblem on top. 
The wanted subject is known to frequent the location and previously shoplifted from the business wearing the same clothing.
