The NOPD is seeking assistance from the public in identifying and locating the pictured subject after his alleged involvement in an auto burglary that occurred in the 6200 block of Chef Menteur Highway.
On April 13, 2019 at or around 3 a.m., the victim reportedly left his vehicle unlocked at the location. The victim returned to the vehicle at or around 5 a.m. and observed several items were missing from inside his vehicle.
Officers reviewed surveillance video from this incident and observed an unknown black male, wearing a white t-shirt and jeans, crawl under the gate to the establishment and began to pull on door handles of several vehicles. The subject reportedly threw the victim’s missing items over the gate and then fled the scene in possession of the victim’s belongings.
