NOPD Identifies Suspect in Seventh District Domestic Aggravated Assault

The NOPD has obtained an arrest warrant for George Everidge Jr. (DOB: 01-12-1956) in connection with a domestic aggravated assault incident that occurred on April 21, 2019 in the 14000 block of Duane Road.

Through investigation, NOPD Seventh District detectives determined that Everidge and the female victim were involved in a verbal altercation. During the altercation, Everidge allegedly became irate, relocated to the kitchen of their residence and retrieved a knife. He then reportedly approached the victim and raised the knife as if he was going to stab her. However, the victim reportedly grabbed Everidge’s wrist and the two fought over the knife until it was no longer in Everidge’s possession. Everidge then fled the location.
