NOPD Identifies Suspect in Fourth District Aggravated Assault

The NOPD has obtained an arrest warrant for Peggy Elerby (DOB: 08-02-1986) in connection with an aggravated assault which occurred on April 18, 2019 in the 3600 block of MacArthur Boulevard.

At approximately 3:45 a.m., the victim was reportedly in the 3600 block of MacArthur Boulevard when he was approached by Elerby. The victim told police that he advised Elerby that she was not allowed on the premises. At that time, Elerby then allegedly brandished a scalpel and held the blade against the victim’s neck and threatened to kill the victim. Elerby then reportedly fled the scene to an unknown location.

When located, Elerby will be arrested and for aggravated assault.
