NOPD Arrests Three Suspects Found in Possession of Stolen Vehicle

The NOPD arrested Christopher Webb (Male, DOB: 02-11-2001) and two 17-year-old juveniles on April 5, 2019, after the trio was found in possession of a vehicle reported stolen out of Texas.

At about 7:30 a.m., NOPD Seventh District officers responded to a suspicious persons call in the 7200 block of Voyageur Court. The caller reported that three subjects appeared to be sleeping inside of a gray Dodge pickup truck. Upon arrival, officers observed the subjects sleeping inside of the vehicle. A check of the vehicle’s license plate showed it to have been reported stolen from Shelby County Texas. A search incident to arrest revealed the subjects to also be in possession of a loaded 12 gauge shotgun. The firearm had not been reported stolen.

The two juveniles – one male and one female – were reported to be runaways from Texas.

The adult advised officers he did not know the vehicle, bearing decals stating it belonged to Shelby County, was stolen.

All three subjects were taken into custody and booked accordingly.
