The NOPD has arrested Wilton Breaux (DOB: 03-28-1996), a wanted fugitive from the Baton Rouge Police Department on multiple counts.
On March 29, 2019, NOPD Seventh District Task Force Officers and detectives were notified that Breaux was located at a residence in the 5100 block of Bundy Road. According to Baton Rouge Police, Breaux was wanted for armed robbery, false imprisonment, second degree sexual battery and offender armed with a dangerous weapon.
Breaux was apprehended by NOPD officers and detectives after a brief foot pursuit, before which officers announced their presence while the subject reportedly jumped from the second story of an apartment building and fled on foot to evade capture. Breaux was arrested and will be transported to Baton Rouge for booking there.
