ARRESTED: Suspect Apprehended by NOPD for Multiple Drug Law Violations

NOPD officers have arrested Terrell Bellvie (DOB: 03/08/1993) after he was accused of committing several drug law violations in the Seventh District.

On April 10, 2019 Seventh District officers conducted a traffic stop in the 5800 block of Read Boulevard. During the course of the investigation, officers reportedly smelled a strong odor of marijuana coming from inside the vehicle. Officers searched the vehicle and discovered a large bag containing marijuana, ecstasy pills, a scale and a semi-automatic firearm.

Bellvie was issued several traffic citations for his traffic violations. He was arrested and transported to the Orleans Parish Justice Center where he was booked with possession with intent to distribute marijuana, possession with intent to distribute ecstasy, possession of a firearm while in possession of narcotics and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
