ARRESTED: NOPD Apprehends Suspect in Fourth District Homicide

NOPD officers have arrested Eugene Keymichael Weather (DOB: 12/13/1978) in connection with a homicide that occurred in the Fourth District.

On April 1, 2019 Fourth District officers responded to a call of an aggravated battery by shooting around 8:40 a.m. in the 1000 block of Wagner Street. Upon arrival, officers discovered an adult black male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. 

Through further investigation, Weather was positively identified as the perpetrator of this homicide. He was located on April 7, 2019 in the 3200 block of South Carrollton Avenue after he committed a carjacking near the intersection of South Carrollton Avenue and Earhart Boulevard. Weather was apprehended and transported to the Orleans Parish Justice Center where he was booked accordingly.
