Three Arrested for Illegal Possession of a Stolen Vehicle on Michoud Boulevard

 

Officers in the Seventh District arrested Kentrell Lockett (DOB: 01-21-00), Tyron Toliver (DOB: 07-01-00) and Ignatius Miorana (DOB: 11-14-2000; not pictured) for illegal possession of a stolen vehicle.  

The incident happened on April 24, 2018. At about 10:30 a.m., Seventh District officers were called to investigate an auto theft in the 7400 block of Kenyon Road. Upon arrival, officers learned from the victim his vehicle had been taken by two unknown black males, however, could not identify the perpetrators. The victim told officers that the vehicle was being tracked by OnStar and was located at the Chevron gas station, located at 13301 Chef Menteur Highway. 

When the officers arrived at the gas station, the individuals in possession of the vehicle were identified as Kentrell Lockett, Tyron Toliver, and Ignatius Miorana (not pictured). All subjects then fled the location on foot to a nearby neighborhood. Lockett and Miorana were apprehended in the 4600 block of Michoud Boulevard while Toliver was apprehended in the 14000 block of Chef Menteur Highway.
