Suspect Wanted in Auto Burglary on Spain Street

Suspect Wanted in Auto Burglary on Spain Street

The NOPD is seeking to locate and identify a suspect believed to be responsible for an auto burglary that occurred in the 4300 block of Spain Street on March 27, 2018.

At about 12:44 p.m., the victim returned to his residence, parked his vehicle in his driveway and entered his residence. At this time, a gray Toyota Camry pulled up in front of the residence. The pictured unknown black male was seen via surveillance video approaching and then entering the victim’s vehicle through the unlocked passenger door. The subject then reportedly went through the victim’s glove box before exiting the vehicle, returning to the Toyota Camry and fleeing the scene.

The subject is described as an unknown black male seen wearing camouflage pants, a purple jacket and black hat.
