Suspect Identified, Wanted for Armed Robbery on North Roman Street

The NOPD is searching for Rayshaun George Lea (DOB: 03/05/92) for his involvement in an armed robbery with a firearm on March 24, 2018.

At about 12:30 a.m., the victim had just sat down in the driver’s seat of her vehicle that was parked in the 1600 block of North Roman Street when she heard a male voice demanding her not to move. The victim then glanced to her left and observed a black male subject kneeling down while pointing a firearm at her. The victim stated the perpetrator later identified as Lea demanded her belongings at that time. The victim complied, relinquished her property to the perpetrator and fled the location to notify the police. 

Through the course of the investigation, the below-depicted subject was positively identified as the perpetrator in the incident.
