Officers in the Eighth District arrested Darius Green (DOB:4-02-87) for illegally carrying a weapon on April 22, 2018.
At about 1 a.m., Eighth District Officers R. Souffrant, Officer C. Niselman and Officer M. Mckoan of the District's Bourbon Promenade Unit were patrolling on foot when they observed the above-pictured subject in the 300 block of Bourbon Street.
Green was charged with the illegal possession of a concealed handgun (.380 caliber loaded blue steel Smith and Wesson with five live rounds in the magazine). The weapon was concealed under his shirt and inside of his pants.
The officers relocated the subject to the station where he was later transported to Central Lockup and booked accordingly.
