The NOPD is seeking assistance from the public in locating Ellis Hansell (DOB: 09-22-1959) who is believed to have valuable information regarding a theft incident that occurred in the 800 block of Olga Street.
On Tuesday, April 3, 2018, the victim observed a silver 2004 Chevrolet pickup truck, bearing Louisiana license plate # Y151899, on his property. The victim was in possession of a camera at the time and began taking photos of the truck. Further inspection of the contents in the truck bed revealed the victim’s property in the bed of the truck. The suspect later fled the scene, heading eastbound on Olga Street.
Hansell is not wanted in connection with this incident. However, detectives would like to interview him.
