Pair Arrested for Multiple Theft Schemes in Eighth District

Officers in the Eighth District arrested Abrion Randle (DOB:11-23-79)  (pictured at left) and Arlina Perez (DOB:05-2-90) (pictured at right) for multiple theft scheme incidents that have occurred at different hotels in the Eighth District.

The most recent incident happened on March 15, 2018. The victim and his friend met the two female perpetrators on Bourbon Street and eventually relocated with them back to their hotel rooms. While the victim was in the shower, he heard the subject going through items in his room. When he got out of the bathroom, he discovered his money missing from the hotel safe and the female subject. The victim then relocated to his friend’s hotel room where he saw the second perpetrator and attempted to question her about her friend taking his money. At that time, that subject punched the victim in the face before fleeing the location.

The above subjects are responsible for a theft of property in the amount of $11,150. Eighth District Officers Colin Niselman and Rayvon Souffrant arrested both subjects identified as Abrion Randle on March 28, 2018 and Arlina Perez on March 29, 2018.

The subject were arrested for charges of theft and battery under four separate incidents.
