NOPD Searches for Two Suspects in First District Vehicle Burglary

NOPD officers are searching for two subjects who were captured on surveillance video while burglarizing a vehicle on Thursday, April 5, 2018, at or around 12:50 p.m.

The victim told police he parked his vehicle, unlocked, in front of a business located in the 2900 block Ponce De Leon Street. The victim returned to his vehicle at or around 4:30 p.m. that same day and noticed his vehicle ransacked.

During the investigation, First District officers reviewed surveillance footage and observed two male suspects exit a 2016 Nissan Pathfinder, bearing Louisiana license plate #987BBE, and approach the victim’s vehicle. Both subjects were seen entering the victim’s vehicle before fleeing the location, heading eastbound on Ponce De Leon Street.
