The NOPD is searching for a person of interest in connection with a First District homicide.
The subject, Edwon Spears, (DOB: 07-15-1995) is believed to have pertinent information regarding the death of Russell Teal, which occurred on February 5, 2018, in the 1400 block of Governor Nicholls Street.
Spears is not currently wanted in this investigation.
