NOPD Identifies Suspect in Aggravated Assault Incident on George Nick Conner Drive

The NOPD has obtained an arrest warrant for Jaquan Brown (DOB: 08-26-1999) in connection with an aggravated assault with a firearm that occurred on March 29, 2018 in the 2500 block of George Nick Conner Drive.

At about 10 p.m., the victims were walking in the 2500 block of George Nick Conner Drive when they were approached from behind by two unknown black males. The victims stated that one of the subjects, later identified as Brown, removed a firearm from his waistband and fired the weapon in their direction. The victims were able to flee the area and did not sustain any injuries.

Through the course of investigation, Fifth District detectives positively identified Brown as the perpetrator in this incident.
