NOPD Searches for Vehicle Involved in Armed Robbery

The NOPD is searching for a black Chevrolet that was taken during an armed robbery on April 24, 2017.

 At around 10:15 p.m., the victim told police he was exiting his vehicle outside of an apartment complex which is located at 12000 block of North I-10 Service Road. The victim was then approached by an unknown black male; the subject pointed a firearm at the victim and demanded the contents of his pockets. The victim complied and handed his vehicle keys to the subject who is described as being dark complexion, approximately 6’1.” He was seen wearing a white T-shirt, blue jeans and a black cloth that was covering his hair.

The subject then fled the location in the victim’s black, 2007 Chevrolet Mote Carlo. The victim’s vehicle is described as having dark tint and bearing a Mississippi license plate of NXH653.
