The NOPJF Encourages Locals to “Adopt-A-Cop” for Carnival

The New Orleans Police & Justice Foundation (NOPJF) has launched its annual Adopt-A-Cop initiative. The program raises funds to provide meals, snacks and beverages for law enforcement personnel during the 12 days of extended shifts that accompany Carnival season.

NOPD, St. John the Baptist Parish Sheriff’s Office Combine to Arrest Two in Numerous Armed Robberies

The combined efforts of the NOPD and St. John the Baptist Parish Sheriff’s Office led to the arrests of Jeremy Landfair (DOB: 01-12-1994) and Deiontae Johnson (DOB: 09-28-1998) on January 29, 2017, in connection with as many as four armed robberies occurring between both jurisdictions. Three of the incidents occurred in New Orleans.
