The NOPD has obtained an arrest warrant for Edward Ogletree (DOB: 04-02-1953) in regards to a simple burglary in the 400 block of Pacific Avenue on October 25, 2016.

The NOPD is investigating a homicide that took place in a parking lot of an apartment complex at Westbend Parkway and Vespasian Boulevard.

UPDATE: The incident initially reported as a shooting on Newton has been changed to a negligent injury. Police determined that the victim suffered a self-inflicted gunshot wound. The victim has been treated and released from the hospital and is being questioned by police.

An unidentified male took two six-packs of beer from a supermarket in the 3100 block of General Meyer Avenue on October 24, 2016. The NOPD is seeking assistance from the public in identifying and locating this individual.
