Suspect Identified by NOPD in Fourth District Aggravated Burglary Incident

The NOPD has obtained an arrest warrant for Lachelle Price (pictured, black female, DOB: 11-30-2004) in the investigation of an aggravated burglary incident that occurred on September 4, 2023, in the 1700 block of Elizardi Boulevard.

At about 5:50 p.m. on September 4, Price reportedly arrived at the location with two other unknown subjects, kicked in the front door of a residence to gain entry and then kicked in a rear bedroom door where the three victims were located. Price allegedly then struck Victim #1, who is reported to be pregnant, several times by kicking her in the stomach with stated intent to harm the victim’s unborn child. Price then reportedly struck the two other victims before dragging a second victim outside of the residence, where the fight was broken up. Price and the two other suspects then fled the scene on foot, but returned minutes later and resumed the confrontation with Victim #1. The wanted subject then dragged Victim #1 back to the ground, causing her to fall on her stomach and face causing immediate pain to her stomach. The suspects then fled the scene.

Price is currently wanted on charges of aggravated burglary, attempted first-degree feticide; battery of a dating partner; simple battery; telephone harassment; and simple assault by making threats of bodily injury.

All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
