Person of Interest Sought for Questioning in NOPD Homicide Investigation

The NOPD is seeking to interview a person of interest as part of its ongoing investigation into a homicide that occurred on August 13, 2023, at the intersection of South Broad and Banks streets.

Through investigation, NOPD Homicide Section detectives have developed and identified Terrelle Carter (pictured, black male, DOB: 01-15-1981) as a person of interest in this case. Carter is not currently wanted on criminal charges. However, detectives feel that he has knowledge of information vital to their investigation and wish to interview him.
