The NOPD is seeking to identify and locate two suspects in the commission of an armed carjacking on August 31, 2022, in the 4100 block of South Carrollton Avenue, as well as to locate the perpetrator and victim vehicles.
At about 11:34 p.m. on August 31, the victim returned to her vehicle – a red 2019 Hyundai Elantra bearing Florida license plate LDDW65 – parked at the location. An armed unknown black male subject reportedly with a red bandana tied around his face, allegedly emerged from a silver newer model Honda Civic parked next to the victim, pointed firearm at the victim and demanded she exit her vehicle. The victim complied and the perpetrator entered and fled in victim’s vehicle, followed by the suspect vehicle.
