The NOPD is requesting assistance from the public in locating a vehicle believed to have been involved in a homicide on August 14, 2022, at the intersection of Canal and North Derbigny streets.
At about 4:48 p.m., a homicide by shooting occurred at the intersection, which resulted in two victims suffering from gunshot wounds. One of the victims was declared deceased on scene. Detectives are looking for assistance in locating and identifying the above pictured vehicle in this investigation.
The vehicle, described as a black Mercedes Benz four-door sedan and having damage near the front passenger side headlight, was last seen traveling westbound on Claiborne Avenue towards Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.
