NOPD Identifies Wanted Suspect in Third District Cutting Incident

The NOPD has obtained an arrest warrant for Darnell Mutin (pictured, black male, DOB: 08-31-1974) in the investigation of an aggravated battery by cutting on August 27, 2021 in the 3800 block of St. Bernard Avenue.

At about 9:05 p.m., the pictured subject cut the victim to the face with a knife. The victim sustained lacerations and was hospitalized.

When located, Mutin will be arrested on one charge of aggravated battery by cutting.
