NOPD Arrests Suspects on Narcotics, Weapons Charges in Third District

The NOPD’s Special Operations Division arrested three suspects on September 28, 2021 for illegal narcotics and weapons charges in the Third District.

The listed suspects were arrested at a location in the 3400 block of Franklin Avenue on the listed charges:

  • Byron Charles (pictured at left, black male, DOB: 09-27-1994) was arrested for conspiracy to distribute a Schedule 1 CDS (marijuana), conspiracy to distribute a Schedule 2 CDS (crack cocaine), conspiracy to distribute a Schedule 1 CDS (heroin/fentanyl), conspiracy to distribute a Schedule 2 CDS (hydrocodone), conspiracy to distribute a Schedule 5 CDS (Promethazine) and two counts of possession of a firearm while in possession of a CDS.
  • Damien Washington (pictured at center, black male, DOB: 03-07-2002) was arrested for conspiracy to distribute a Schedule 1 CDS (marijuana), conspiracy to distribute a Schedule 2 CDS (crack cocaine), conspiracy to distribute a Schedule 1 CDS (heroin/fentanyl), conspiracy to distribute a Schedule 2 CDS (hydrocodone), conspiracy to distribute a Schedule 5 CDS (Promethazine) and possession of a firearm while in possession of a CDS.
  • Damico Davis (pictured at right, black male, DOB: 11-20-1998) was arrested for possession with intent to distribute a Schedule 1 CDS (marijuana), possession with intent to distribute a Schedule 2 CDS (crack cocaine), possession with intent to distribute a Schedule 1 CDS (heroin/fentanyl), possession with intent to distribute a Schedule 2 CDS (hydrocodone), possession with intent to distribute a Schedule 5 CDS (Promethazine) and possession of a firearm while in possession of a CDS.
