Subject Sought in Theft of Bicycles on Esplanade Avenue

The NOPD is seeking information to assist in identifying and locating an individual seen on surveillance video in commission of a theft of two bicycles from a residence in the 2300 block of Esplanade Avenue on August 26, 2017.

Surveillance video captured images of the perpetrator climbing over a security fence to the victim’s residence. After gaining entry, the perpetrator then proceeded to cut a lock securing two bicycles in the yard before leaving the area with both bicycles.
