The NOPD is seeking an individual who used a credit card reported as stolen during a vehicle burglary that occurred on September 28, 2016, in a parking lot at Delgado Community College.

At about 3:52 p.m., Third District officers responded to a vehicle burglary on the campus of Delgado Community College, 615 City Park Avenue. In speaking to the victim, officers learned that the victim had parked his vehicle in the lot at 7:45 a.m. and returned to the vehicle at 11:45 a.m. During his drive home, his credit card company contacted him to advise that his credit card was being used. The victim said he checked his center console, where he normally keeps his wallet, to find the wallet missing. He then contacted police. The victim stated that he believed his vehicle was secured when he parked.

Surveillance video of this individual who used the stolen credit card at an Auto Zone in the 1500 block of Elysian Fields Avenue can be viewed at https://youtu.be/iM16k-fQ-2Q.
