The NOPD has arrested Edwardnisha Raiford (DOB: 09/27/93) for her role in a fight that left a 9-month-old baby injured.

The incident happened Monday (Sept. 19) afternoon at the intersection of Mandeville and North Derbigny Streets. Based on the investigation, officers learned that a fight had occurred between two groups of individuals at the location. During the altercation, members of one of the groups brandished knives and another from the same group fired gunshots.

A total of four victims suffered non-life threatening injuries from the knives. The victims included three females, including a 9-month-old baby and one male. No injuries were reported from the gunfire in the incident.
