UPDATE: Seventh District detectives discovered this missing person’s vehicle abandoned in the Seventh District. NOPD is still searching for Dwayne Cobbins (DOB: 11/09/1973).This investigation is still ongoing.

The NOPD needs the public’s assistance in locating a missing person.
Dwayne Cobbins (DOB: 11/09/1973) was last seen on September 9, 2016, when he dropped off his laundry at his mother’s residence in the 3300 block of Erato Street. The reporting person stated that he usually calls his mother every day but she has not heard from him and he has not answered his phone.
Cobbins drives a 2012 Nissan Altima with Louisiana license plate number YCC382. A photo of the missing man is included below.
