Two Suspects Sought for Armed Robbery on South Carrollton

The NOPD needs the public’s assistance in identifying and locating two suspects wanted in connection to an armed robbery.

On September 1, 2016, at approximately 5:24 p.m., two unknown black males entered the Cash Cow located in the 3000 block of South Carrollton Avenue and demanded the employees give them the money in the cash register. They complied and the two perpetrators fled the scene with the cash and one victim’s cell phone.

The first suspect was described as being around 5'9" tall, weighing 150 pounds and wearing a blue or black "Jani King" uniform T-shirt, baggy blue jeans, and an inside out camouflage baseball cap with an orange brim. He held an orange towel over his face.

The second suspect was described as being about 6'5" tall, weighing 200 pounds, and wearing a black or blue t-shirt and blue jeans. He had a combined blue hat and ski mask over his face and rubber gloves on his hands. He was armed with a small black revolver.

Armed Robbery

In Louisiana, an armed robbery conviction requires the offender to be imprisoned at hard labor for 10 – 99 years, without benefit of parole, probation, or suspension of sentence. When a firearm is used in the commission of the crime, the offender will be imprisoned for an additional 5 years that will be served consecutively to the original sentence.
