Stolen Camera Equipment, Suspects Sought from Incident at Intersection of Palmetto and Eagle Streets

The NOPD is seeking the public’s assistance in locating and identifying those responsible for the theft of camera equipment. The incident occurred on August 31, 2016.

The victims told police that at about 6 a.m., they were waiting for an Uber vehicle to arrive and had placed the camera equipment on the ground. They then observed a black or dark green SUV with tinted windows approach from Eagle Street. The SUV then stopped in front of them, and a male began talking to the victims from the driver’s side of the vehicle. Fearing for their safety, the victims then began to flee. As they did so, they observed an unidentified black male exit the vehicle and place the camera equipment inside the vehicle. The suspects then fled in the vehicle on Palmetto Street, then in an unknown direction. Both subjects were described as black males attired in all black clothing.

Stock photos of the stolen camera equipment can be found below. These are not photos of the actual stolen items.
