NOPD Identifies Suspect Wanted for Aggravated Assault with a Firearm on Boeing Street

The NOPD has obtained an arrest warrant for Renard Santiago (DOB 05-17-1986) for an aggravated assault with a firearm in the 5900 block of Boeing Street. The incident occurred on August 30, 2016.

At about 7:50 p.m., Santiago reportedly arrived unannounced at the victim’s residence and engaged in an argument with the victim over their child. A male subject that accompanied Santiago was able to remove Santiago from the victim’s residence before the two fled the scene.

Santiago is currently wanted on multiple warrants for acts of domestic violence against the victim. He is also wanted by Probation and Parole for a parole violation and by Criminal District Court for several court capiases.

A photo of Santiago can be found above. He is to be considered armed and dangerous.
