Interim Superintendent Anne Kirkpatrick invites the citizens of New Orleans to join her at the Kickoff of the 40th Annual Night Out Against Crime.
This is an opportunity for citizens to meet and speak with Superintendent Kirkpatrick.
The kickoff will start at 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 17, at the Milne Recreation Center, located at 5420 Franklin Avenue.
Everyone is invited to enjoy an evening filled with music, food and drinks, family-friendly activities, and various community resources.
Night Out Against Crime serves as a unifying platform, bringing together citizens, law enforcement agencies, civic groups, businesses, neighborhood organizations, and local officials working together to raise awareness about crime prevention.
Close to one hundred communities, businesses, and organizations are hosting Night Out Against
Crime parties in neighborhoods throughout the city.
