The NOPD is asking for the public's assistance in locating a subject wanted in connection with the unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
On September 2, 2023, the victim reported his vehicle stolen from the 2900 block of Arts Street.
Through investigation, detectives positively identified Jermal Lovely, (pictured black male, DOB: 03-24-1985) as a subject seen later driving the stolen vehicle and allegedly attempting to sell it to a scrap yard.
Lovely is being sought on charges of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and illegal possession of stolen things.

All persons are presumed to be innocent until proven guilty.
