NOPD Seeking Person of Interest for Questioning in 2022 Homicide Investigation

The NOPD is seeking to interview a person of interest in the ongoing investigation of a homicide that occurred on April 30, 2022, in the 4000 block of Dauphine Street.

Through investigation, NOPD Homicide Section detectives have identified Josue Santiago (aka “Puerto Rican Josh”, Hispanic male, DOB: 05-01-1985) as a person of interest in this investigation. Santiago is not currently wanted on criminal charges in this investigation. However, detectives feel he may have knowledge of information vital to the investigation and wish to interview him.
